Wellgate Community Farm’s income comes from a mix of events, local authority grants, independent funders, and our education work. With the bulk of our income raised between March and July, we are facing (like many of you) an unprecedented situation which could threaten our very existence after nearly 40 years.

We’ve cut back on our outgoings as far as is safe and practical for our livestock, and we are working with suppliers to reduce our bills in any way we can, but you can help too. But we can’t stop our animals eating – we still need to buy feed and pay vet bills. If you can spare something for us, even if it’s the price of the coffee you had at home instead of in the office today, our animals would really appreciate it.
